Editorial colophon

The purpose of this journal

A composed view of facilities designed to accommodate an uncertain next requirement.

Teammeteortrelum.garden is an independent, informative website about modular data center architecture. We write for facilities strategists, technical decision-makers and the teams who turn capacity plans into operating infrastructure.

Our point of view

The most revealing part of a facility is often its interface: where one supplier's scope ends, where one cooling loop meets another or where a future phase will join a live system. We begin there rather than with a catalogue of enclosures.

Our four studies examine distinct decisions. Modules defines physical and contractual boundaries. Power follows the electrical path. Cooling follows heat to its final destination. Expansion considers the sequence by which new infrastructure becomes usable.

How we use evidence

Standards and industry organizations are named where they provide a useful reference framework. A reference is not a claim that this website, a supplier or an unnamed installation is certified. Standards change, and applicability depends on edition, jurisdiction and project scope. Consult the source organization and competent project professionals before making a compliance decision.

Comparisons are deliberately qualified. Factory assembly can improve predictability, but it does not remove site risk. Liquid cooling can support demanding equipment, but it does not eliminate every air-cooling load. Redundancy can help availability, but topology and operating practice still matter.

An interface is a promise about the next phase.— Teammeteortrelum editorial principle

About our pull quotes

The attributed editorial principles throughout this journal are our own summaries, not quotations from standards or third-party organizations. They condense the argument of the surrounding essay and should be read with its qualifications.

Corrections and correspondence

We welcome a precise correction, a missing qualification or a question that deserves a clearer explanation. Include the page, the passage and a public source where possible. Please do not send confidential facility information, access credentials or security-sensitive operational details.
